Fuel Gauge not working properly

Hey guys, so recently I was out of town for a few weeks left my car parks for maybe 3 weeks without starting it. Then I went to start it up today a message shows up "Battery discharged while stopped; electrical devices were temporarily switched off". So I proceeded to start the car let it idle for 5 minutes. Afterward, I went to fuel up. After refueling my gas gauge is not indicating the tank is full. No error/messages are popping up in my Idrive system. Please advise on the situation? Thanks in advanced.

Mine started doing the same. Goes to maybe 7/8 full when the tank is full. Other than that, the gauge works fine. I assume the float is sticking???

Just got my car back from the dealer after having the Fuel Pump Recall completed. Fuel Gauge is now working correctly again. Not sure why, but so far, so good.

I already did my Fuel Pump Recall like 2 months ago now this happened? I need to call my dealership then. Hopefully, it's a faulty fuel pump.

I doubt the fuel pump caused this issue, but you could infer that the technician did something to cause the problem. Perhaps the float connection wasn't secured after the repair???

Can anyone access their car hidden menu and run a tank test on a full tank of gas and tell me what the value that's displaying for both right and left sensor? This would be very helpful. I'm trying to diagnose the problem myself here.
