N63 Intercoolers and oil

car: 2012 F10 550

Ive noticed oil leaking from both my intercoolers near the bottom between bottom of the intercooler and the throttle bodies. And the film of oil has been collecting on the sway bars. I will attempt to get pictures but has anyone else had this problem?

Car makes great power and no white smoke from the exhaust.

Having oil in the intercooler could be a couple of things,
Blow-by
CCV going bad
Turbos going bad.
But the more interesting thing is you mention it leaking out, meaning its leaking out from somewhere. From my understanding, it should be a complete sealed unit. Either a crack/loose clamp

I think I need new CCVs on both sides; I removed the oil filler cap and placed a plastic bag over the opening and it's no blowing off nor being sucked, it just sits on top and barely lifts.

I dont think it's the turbos because there is no smoke coming out of the exhaust

The N63s are known for getting their Oil separators clogged. Hence, N63TU has the catch can system from factory. Maybe check your oil separators.

if there is no suction when you remove the oil filler cap then yes, you will need a new CCV valve(s)

only other culprits I could think of is one of the engine gaskets leaking oil.

turned out to be a broken ccv hose and severed wastegate hose that runs under the alternator.
