Quality Wheel for under $3k?

I am looking for a wheel that performs as well or better than BMW's OEM wheels.

Can this be had for $2k? $3k? More? Less?

Forgestar, BBS, SSR, Volk off the top of my head. Tires not included in that price though.

Avant Garde staggered 20" with Nitto Invo 245/285. $2100 OTD at Discount. BMW center caps fit perfect. Great for a daily driver on decent roads.

If you want better than OEM, I would go forged. Granted you are not going to be able to buy new, but a used set of forged wheels will be in the 3k price range.

I am looking for a concave / no lip design.

My concern is I don't want beautiful wheel "jewelry" and then worry about messing them up. It's for a daily driver that gets used as I am on the road quite a bit.

Are Avant Garde a good wheel? They seem too low priced to be "good". No?

Agreed, SocalBM. The BC's are nice but a set of 20's is easily $4k from what I've been seeing.

I picked up BMW OEM 343M Forged Wheels from a brand new M5 with only 3k miles on her, with the tires, for $3k.

If you are careful and treat them good, any wheels 1k+ will suffice.

Avant Garde wheels are great for their price -- my choice in a set for winter.

What meant by "wheel jewelry" was forged wheels with prices at $4k and up. If I'm talking a $500-700 wheel it won't hurt as much if I curb it.

I would find a nice set of used OEM 20's

I have avant garde wheels and they look great but bend and vibrate.

Mellow- what size are those? No issue with vibration or bends or cracks?

Did you used to sport a yellow mustang?
