Front wheel spacers? Yaay or nay?

For those that have front wheel spacers, do you think it's a must have mod? I have 15mm on my rears and love the look. I think it's a must have.

I am assuming a 10mm or 12mm was used.

Just make sure you get hub centric otherwise you will have vibrations.

Go for it!

I started with just 15mm spacers on the rear and I recently added 10mm in the front. I love the look on the rears, but am not completely sold on the look of the front wheels spaced out. Waiting until I install my springs to make a final decision on whether I will keep them or not.

Thanks Bake! That is strong feedback.

I have 15mm spacers on the rear and think they look great. I know that I should probably leave it alone, but the upgrade bug is pushing me towards doing 10mm on the front and 18mm on the rear.

So the 10mm spacer on the front was noticeable. I just lowered my car with ACS, and the fronts SEEM to sit a little more inwards than before. This observation is after a proper alignment.

Yes the 10mm's on the front were definitely noticeable. Yours probably SEEM further in due to slightly negative camber from lowering.

Thanks. Good to know. So you feel that maybe it is spaced too far or wasn't necessary, eh? I always wondered if it would take away from the look of the rear being spaced out.

Yes, lowering the f10 means more camber so the wheel sits more inwards.

Just look how much my OEM front cambered in when I first got my coilovers installed and the first test drive with them slammed.

Great example!!

My wheels are not that exaggerated in, but it is more noticeable. I think 10mm spacers would take them out nicely. What did you decide to do with your set-up?

Here's how it look now with my staggered 351M with 245/40/19 winters all around and 10mm spacers front and 18mm rear.
With my drop, the front is not as flush as the rears. But since yours is not as low, I think 10mm will by fine.

Once again, perfect picture and feedback. That was the exact amount of spacing I was debating about doing. Thank you!

So you got rid of the HREs and rolling on stock 19s with spacers?

LOL, HRE are only off for the winter, I've put winter tires on the 19s.

I have been reading through this topic and I have a couple questions. If I order wheels that are 8.5 in the front with 35 offset and 10 in the rear with 33 offset, would or should I use spacers? And if so, what? I am just trying to have the information ahead of time, so I can do everything at once and do it right. Thanks.

Rear will be flush, but the front will sit more inwards. I might get the wheels mounted first to see how big spacers you need in the front.
