Hello all

I have just ordered my new 520i (Was X5 E53 before) and it will arrive at the end of March. What 20" grey color wheels is good for my sapphire black, any recommendation? And I am planning to mod my body kit with 2 twin tailpipe. Is cargym a place to have them all? I saw they have many post at car28.com

Please advice, thanks !!!

Never heard of cargym.

For wheels, depends on your budget. Do you want forged or cast?

Drove for a few hours. Not fully bedded in yet but I did notice braking is better. What surprised me is handling improved. I guess this is from a decrease in unsprung weight. I think the Brembo's are half the weight of the stock brakes.

Legit.

Other than the color, is it exact same as RC's?

I don't have any preference, I just concern about the outlook more than the performance, budget around $25K, any suggestions? My friend recommend me the Breyton GTS Grey, how do you think guys?

For $25k, I guess you can only go for cast wheels. Breyton is quite popular in HK. I suggest looking at Vertini Magic or Vossen. Same price range.

Forgestar is good value but too many people have it already.

any opinions regarding noise level of Eisemann race quad in comparison to your list?

And mine sits lower with better looking wheels

This forum is back to life again, hehe.

Went to Spain for over 3 weeks, that's why you don't see me here.

Rented a Peugeot 508 diesel, too big for driving in those old cities. Definitely not recommend any one to swap large rims there. Basically curbing the wheels in motion is mandatory.

Have not seen one yet in action. I wonder if those guys will mod their cars.

BTW, your calipers look sick, jxnco. The BBK definitely makes the handling better for the lighter weight.

woah i never see anything, only 1 535 and 1 550 i think, everything else 523/528/520

maybe that guy is thinking, who is this pretender?

but u know 550 has the advantage of variable ARS (m5 is normal/fixed) and m5 has more direct/harsh suspension bits ..
if u want more power u can easily get a tune and get 500hp

Yes forum has been dead every since RC3 went on holiday...

RC3,

You should paint your calipers yellow. Yellow looks hot with your black car and gun metal rims.

Fun, but too much tapas. I can barely fit into my car's seat now.

I should have as my wife noticed my mods already. Kind of late for me now. Have to leave the car there for a few days. Can't do it without my wife knowing it.
