Ordered April 8, Production started April 10, 2013 6:57am, Dingolfing, Bavaria, Germany.

Thanks for your response. Just our of curiosity, does the M shift knob light up at night & is it dimmed by the dash light dimmer?

My Msport manual shift knob does not (that I have ever noticed). Great choice on the 6MT!

The following picture is what it would look like lit. This is a shift knob as it would appear on an M5, which is lighted. l installed it on my 2011 535i & was hoping the M Sport shifter on the 2013 on order would be the same. Thanks for checking!

Nope, no illumination on the shifter. It hasn't been a problem for me.
