Played 2 practice games and won both and played one placement game last night and won that. My placement game ended up being 2v1 since my partner left.

I (along with a million other Koreans) picked up this game yesterday.

This game is awesome!

It's a shame I suck against other players. I'm the kind of player who used to use nothing but nukes (Starcraft 1) because I like the little animations and watching things blow up.

Just finished the sp game. Pretty great, the last 2 missions are by far the most fun I had. The ending was alittle predictable. But still good.

Quality game all the way through. All the cutscenes and animations. I'm glad blizzard is finally making new stand alone games. One a year, we are all in for a great treat.

It arrived yesterday, didn't get much sleep...playing the single player.

looking forward to multiplayer (after I finish the campaign of course!)

I thought the terran stealth mission, as well as the Odin breakout, were some of the best missions in an RTS game.

Question about the ranking system.

I got partnered up with some shitty people on my placement games. I'm in the gold league right now. Does it go up to platinum if I keep winning or do I just stay in gold?

Yes, you will move up depending on your wins. # of wins needed depends on quality of opposition.

So lets say I'm on a team with some scrub, but I lose the game with high score. Does that move me up in rank as well?

^ not sure about that. Do you notice your rank move up? Easiest way to tell, it tells you what rank you are you know.

looks like the team score is independent of your individual score.... when you get a new team member you have to replace too

I think you lose points towards your rank, but not as many as if you were the wrost on a losing team.

In a 4v4 game, I'll say 'I'm gonig for carriers, I'll put up some cannons, but if I'm rushed, please help help me (to the terrans and zerg).' What happens? I get rushed by the 4 other players and my team sends 2 marines and a couple zerglings.
