2012 535i Lease

Hello,

I just need your opinion. Is this a good deal on a lease:

2012 535i
M Sport package
Navigation Package
Premium Package....
MSRP is $62K, my price 57.5K
Lease is 10K/year (3 year Lease) 675+tax/mo w/ 4K down.

Yay or Nay?

Thanks in advance

Seems pretty good to me. You can find auto lease calculators online. Count on residual being around 60% and your MF being about 0.00195. Those seem around the current parameters the last I checked.

Find out the following specific info from your dealer: money factor, final cap cost, and acquisition fee. Ideally, you do not want a markup on the MF and acquisition fee. Your residual should be fixed at 59% for that vehicle. Also, consider putting that $4k to "multiple-security deposits" and not to cap cost reduction. Multiple security deposits actually reduce your money factor and you get them back at the end of the lease term. Modest cap cost reduction is ok since it reduces your tax/interest liability, and it can even get you under the next lowest $50 multiple used to calculate your multiple security deposit cost. But money put toward cap cost reduction can be lost if your vehicle is lost or stolen. Good luck.
