Problems Re-activating Sirius

I have had my F10 for about 4 months now. Up until last week I had Sirius radio in the car and assumed it was still under the previous owner's subscription. Once it cut off I called Sirius and was able to get a free trial subscription for 3 months and also paid for an introductory 6 month trial taking me thru April 2014. They have tried sending the activation signal out to my car several times but it is not working. Today they even did a full restart and some troubleshooting, but I am still not getting any sound. I have also tried sending the signal from their website myself several times with no luck. They are now telling me that I should bring the car to my dealership and have them check the audio inputs. I know that there are not any problems with the inputs because it was working fine before and I have not done any work on the car that could have possibly screwed anything up. Anyone else experience this before, and if so, what was the solution. Thanks.

Wondering now if somehow the connections on my shark fin are loose. A few days before my Sirius subscription expired I had my roof wrapped in vinyl and they had to take off my shark fin. Does anyone know if no sound from satellite radio could be a symptom of a loose or disconnected wire on the shark fin? My radio shows the stations names, just not hearing anything.

Does it say 'acquiring' on the upper left of the screen?

If you're just not yet activated, tune to 184 and leave it there while you drive for a while and have them send a new signal. I did this on a cross country drive and within 100 miles I got service. I had them send the signal 3 or 4 times with no luck until I just endured the endless ads for an hour or so.

If the car was previously activated the channel list usually doesn't go away, it's usually just new cars that haven't downloaded the guide.
I am starting to think it might be a loose connection then. It does say 'Acquiring' on the upper right of the screen, but I am not getting any sound at all, not even on Station 184. It total I have tried activating about 5 times. My issue is, I am not sure I can get the shark fin off without damaging the vinyl wrap on the roof.

Turned out to be a broken pin on the connection to my shark fin. The installer on my vinyl roof stepped up and bought me an OEM replacement shark fin antenna. He is a class act! Sirius has been back up and running for a few weeks now.
