I actually kind of like the matte finish of the one tip. For me, chrome has no place on a BMW, so I would see about "dulling" out the other tips. I think the matte would also go better with your diffuser.

Great job on taking the exhaust back to original Gene as it came up well. Not sure what happened with the 4th tip as that shouldn't have been affected by the stripper otherwise you would have spots from overspray (unless you isolated that one tip and left the stripper on it overnight). It actually looks like a manufacturing flaw but regardless I'd contact the Master Shite guys and buy another OEM tip.

Gotta agree with Alcenos as all Matte is a better look than all Chrome.

Strange as the other 3 didn't do that? I only left the stripper on for 15 minutes per manufacturer instructions. It didn't do it to any other part of the exhaust? I'm thinking maybe the guy probably sanded it down and painted it black and decided not to sand the rest? No big deal tho... thanks for all the compliments guys! I try to post everything I do to the car here to share with everyone. I agree with the matte finish... kinda looks like the Vorsteiner tips as they look matte too. I did forget to mention that you did do a nice job on the strip and shine. I think that the matte black could also look good with your diffuser.

Thanks guys! Still undecided with what I'm going to do with the tips? I may do the matte/satin black just because the car is Jet Black and I already blacked out all the chrome pieces

It is the M5 version so when I have the exhaust put on it'll have some minor adjustments done to make it work as others have gone through the same setup

Nice pickup bro, and great work cleaning em up. Yeah, I would go with the satin black tips (especially since one is matte right now), I will be doing my tips is gloss black powder coat with red and white RPI logos.

so i just ordered 1 and i'm gonna see if it fits before i order the set! will post some pictures when i do. for those who don't know on the Meisterschaft exhaust the tips are welded on so its not like i can swap for the normal carbon fiber tips you find on ebay

i really like how the guys with the M4 and M6's go all carbon in the rear...i think it's pretty aggressive to me! especially once i get the rear side carbon diffusers done as well!



this is the look i'm after! i really like how the rear side diffuser compliments the diffuser and the carbon tips!
