Anyone painted the lower m sport bumper grills piano black??

I was sat today staring at my car in the car park at work and had a brainwave which i think would tie the front end of the car in really well, i have a gloss black m5 rep grill and the msport bumper with plain black plastic grills. My idea would be to spray these gloss/piano black to match grill and window edging.

This has probably already been done and documented but ive yet to read anything about it.

Also ideas on the look Yes or No?

Anyone whos had this done?

I think it will look good, so I wouldn't worry about that.

I was thinking of doing this myself. I was thinking about using pasti dip with the glossifier.

If you do, make sure you cover the radiator. I might have to try this out when it gets a little warmer.

I will probably just take the grills out, ive already pulled the fog grills out to change the blubs in the past and assume the center should pull out the same.

gtmassive75 did this on his car when he had it. Just pulled the parts off and sprayed them gloss black. Wasn't that noticeable, but looked good.

I've done it with gloss black paint and automotive quality clear coat, I think it looks much better than the dull black OEM color.

These aren't aren't very good photos(and has winter shoes on). When I bought the car I had lower grills painted to match the black kidneys. If someone wants more pics I can take some this weekend and add a few. I think it looks much better when kidneys and lowers grills match.
