Remap

Thinking of having my car remapped, anyone got any experience of DK Tuning in Wolverhampton?

ECU has to be removed and opened up on the F10... Should get around 300 bhp out of

Sounds interesting. Do post back with results if you take the plunge.

I've had a previous 335d remapped by Evolve, who were superb. Definitely made the car come alive, on wet (or even damp) roads without an LSD, a little too much! Brakes then felt like they needed an upgrade...then I thought I should've bought an M car!

Still on the fence with this one as it involves physically removing the ECU, opening it up and soldering parts in... Was a lot more comfortable with the map on my previous X5 as this was simply done via the OBD port. Was hoping others may have had something similar done to aid my decision!

Anyway the car is going for a full paint correction and two stage Gtechniq ceramic seal next week, it then needs two new tyres so it will be a while before I get around to this

Have you considered the TDI Tuning boxes? A mate of mine had it done, was really happy with it. Completely removable without ECU removal, etc.

Yes I looked at the boxes, primarily Racechip. But the consensus seems to be that physical mapping is more effective... Like I said I'm still on the fence and was just hoping there may be some owners who have remapped and could provide feedback
