Galaxy S4 and Spotify

Hi, some back I complained as My S 2 did not show song info on Spotify, I was told it was a Bluetooth version issue.

Now have the Samsung Galaxy S4 and latest Spotify version and still no song title data etc.

iPhone 4 works like a peach, what is wrong ???

Standard F10 radio, no Business or Prof Audio

Need to wait for Android 4.3 for this to be fixed.

I have Android 4.3 (cyanogenmod nightlies) on an S2, and it shows the information correctly, even using the stock music player. I don't think it was showing before the update.

On the S2 and S4 the stock Music Player shows song info... it is only Spotify that is the problem for me.

I see Jelly Bean 4.3 is now out for Google Devices, and S4 'soon', so I will just wait.

I also see on Spotify forums, they 'could' fix it in Spotify, but can't be bothered. People have done a bit of coding to make it work, but I can wait for 4.2

An update, still no good news after update to ANDROID 4.3. S4 still does not show song info when using Spotify... so I give up. Again my other family members iPhone's show song info on EVERY media player... and they connect seamlessly... come on Android!

Final update: my network updated my Galaxy S4 to KitKat 4.4.2 over the weekend. Tried Spotify and 'boom !' at last it shows song info....

Amazing that something so minor could take so long on Android/S4's
