Check your option list according to VIN for the option S322A Comfort access. When it is activated you have to notice if your car opens doors keyless. See the Product Information, page 36: https://www.google.ru/url?sa=t&rct=j...87269000,d.bGQ For the F10 LCI models, the keyless tailgate operation comes together with the keyless door opening.
If nothing is present, go ahead with the M5 diffuser. Otherwise the tailgate sensor can be relocated. |

I always thought this was for the trunk only? You're not referring to using the key fob to unlock the car right or pop the trunk? And I don't mean using the foot under bumper method?

Simple way of determining whether you have comfort access is to:
- have the car locked; - have the keys in your pocket - then fully insert your hand into the door handle - the door should unlock automatically. It also works in reverse (i.e. unlocked door to locking door) by placing your fingers where the ribs are on the door handle (thumb on top of door handle and index finger on bottom of door handle) and lightly pinch the top and bottom of your door handle (door should automatically lock). There is the automatic boot release on LCI models which is activated (with the keys in your pocket) by pulling your foot from under the bumper out and upwards to release and open the boot lid. Tip: don't let anyone watch you do the boot release cos you will look like a right dork when you're doing it (I'm speaking from first hand experience)

Ok....so just saying I do have comfort access. Why do I have to take out one side of the bumper and tail light? Like some of these post on here. Just to put the M5 diffuser on ?
