Dinan 535i Exhaust Now Available (w/ Video Clip)

It's late to market, but late is better then never.

Dinan engineers designed the F10 BMW 535i exhaust to improve exhaust flow by reducing back pressure, resulting in increased power output and a great sporty sound that is civilized when you want it to be, and pleasantly aggressive under hard acceleration. Dinan also incorporates a Helmholtz chamber design that reduces resonance or "drone" at low RPM.

The system is built to exacting specifications to ensure perfect fit using the factory hangers. It is made from 100% 16 gauge 304 stainless steel and will resist corrosion for years to come. The design features two 89mm (3.5") ceramic black or polished laser engraved exhaust tips for a tasteful, high-performance look.

Maximum performance gains are 6 horsepower and 5 ft-lbs of torque.

Fits stock bumper AND M-Aerodynamics bumper.

Benefits of the Dinan Free Flow Exhaust:
  • Uses the factory brackets and hangers for a factory-like fitment.
  • Helmholtz chamber to reduce drone.
  • Enjoyably louder, sportier Sound
  • 100% 304 stainless steel construction
  • Two 89mm (3.5") laser engraved ceramic black or polished exhaust tips
  • 6 HP @ 6600 RPM, 5 FT-LB @ 6600 RPM

For full pricing and specs please visit the product page HERE.

Axle back with 3.5" tips welded on (never been around for slip on tips on a Dinan exhaust if it ever existed in the first place).

Reason I ask is because I wanted to know if I had the option to put quad tips instead.

Dinan Exhaust 2015 535 M sport (Leased Vehicle)

This is great news, i'm working directly with BMW of Bridgewater in NJ and they have already ordered the part. hopefully will get it installed sometime next week. will have an update when its done. Also for those who that are concerned about Warranty issues, as long as you get it done through a BMW (Dinan Products) it WILL NOT void the warranty.

You should coat the cans flat black to make those less visible. Reasonably priced compared to other options!

Send me a free set and I'll happily test them on my M-Sport!

These sound great from the outside. Is there much difference inside the cabin with the windows closed? I've read that BMW engineers were so good with the F10's sound insulation that we'll never hear a difference. For that reason I can't imagine it's too loud inside, but in real-world driving, can you hear it?

Thanks much... this and you tune could make my 6-cylinder 6-speed even more fun!

Inside the cabin the sound is essentially the same as stock. I couldn't perceive a difference at least. Given it was a week in between when I was in the stock car and when the finished exhaust was on there but it doesn't drone or have that boomy cabin sound at all.

I like that the black tips don't jack the cost up, or that it at least has the option for black tips. Sounds like this is roughly equivalent to sound level of the Megan exhaust, but a bit quieter still then M Performance. Would you have any input or confirmation there?

They should have a quad tip option in black...that would be sweet!

Never heard the Megan exhaust in person so can't comment there but I thought it sounded louder then the M-Performance one personally. That said, I didn't hear them back to back so it was a bit off of memory.

I have M Performance mufflers on my car and there is DEFINITELY a difference in sound from inside the cabin. If you don't think there is any perceivable difference in cabin with the Dinan mufflers, then they are not as loud as the M Performance. M Performance units also give the opportunity to add quad tips! Just my $0.02.

that's why i was inquiring earlier about having the option of quad tips? nice price for the Dinan compared to the Megan's but because there's no option for quads i'm still on the fence
