I have a 2016 528i xDrive (n20 engine), I was looking to go to stage 1 or even stage 2 right away, is there anything I have to be careful on? Im pretty sure the timing chain is fixed on the newer models, and I already ordered a charge pipe because those are known to go, but is there anything I have to worry about? Just got the car about 2 weeks ago so I dont know too much about the reliability, ect.

I would be looking back at the car's history and catching up on any overdue maintenance. Hopefully you pulled the carfax when you bought it to check on previous oil change intervals. Oil changes on these cars are extremely important especially on the N20. 2016 should have the new parts but I would still want to know the oil changes had been kept up before I modded an N20. Charge pipe is all that is really needed for stage 1 tuning. For stage 2, A downpipe and larger intercooler are recommended. While you're at it, I would do the XHP stage 3 trans tune, it really adds to the experience.
