Window tinting for new F10/F11 535xi
Hello, I'm new to this blog, my first post.
I just got my first BMW, it's a Black Sapphire exterior and Black interior. I live in Oregon and the legal tint is 35%. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations to which type of tint to use. I've done a little research and don't know which to go with... Dye, hybrid, metalized, or ceramic. Also if anyone is from Oregon could recommend a professional tinter that would be awesome as well. |

Gatoman, thanks for the links, I also did a search earlier and read through some of the posts.
I was just looking at the pictures of your 535i, very nice! May I ask what type of tint you went with? I know that the % looks different depending on the angles of the photos and all. But did you go with a hybrid tint or metalized. |

Madico Wincos. There's a lot of argument over which is best, but to be honest, I think all the premium tint is so similar, it comes down to the installer more than the film. Go with a ceramic tint Huper Optik, LLumar, Madico, Pinnacle. Should be around 200 bucks
