Will they fit? Help a newbie out.

Hi guys. I currently own a 2013 528i with original rims and desperately looking to replace. I may have found a set I like with a fitment of Front 225-40zr18; Rears 245-35zr18.

Will I be good if I pull the trigger on these?

Are those potential new wheels the correct offset and bolt pattern?

You do not want this setup - both tire sizes and offset are very different from what would work. My stock F10 wheels & tires were 245/40/19, 33mm offset on 8.5" width wheels. Regardless of the F10 model, tire & wheel sizes are going to be very similar to that size, and you change the aspect ratio to suit the wheel diameter, and tire width to match wheel width. If you don't know how tire and wheel sizes work, try using an online wheel/tire calculator and play with the numbers.

Normal F10 tires sizes would be 245/45/18 or 245/40/19 on all four corners, with wheel offset of 33mm on an 8.5" wheel width. I have seen 225s on 18" wheels too on an F10. For staggered setup, you could do 275/40/18 or 275/35/19 on the rear, with a correspondingly wider wheel like 9" or 9.5". Many have run a lower offsets than 33mm, pushing the wheel further outwards. Your proposed offset of 45mm would push the wheel inwards, and in fact it might not clear the front suspension causing additional grief.

I suspect your proposed wheels come from a 3 series or even smaller.

Thanks so much for this. I'll move on from those. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! 🤝

Am so impressed with your tyre. Knowledge am currently having factory setup for my 2014 550i run flat of 245/35R20 & 275/30R20 and am having a ver rough ride thinking of going to non run flat 245/40R20 front & 275/35R20 rear. What is your thought ?
