2014 528i transmission malfunction and it shifts into PARK.... has done this a few times until yesterday 107 degrees it went dead took a couple times and it started back up. Never had the fluid changed is this a sign to have it changed.

How many miles? have you looked into in knowing how to unlock and read the codes it shows via the Odometer trip reset button? if so that will be useful into your diagnosis. From what I experienced and here on this forum, it could be transmission related, or it could be something very simple and or engine related. You could also have the car scanned with an OBDII BMW certified scanner. hope this helps to start you off! If you have a laptop, there is software that can definitely help you find what is actually happening. Search the forums carefully. You need Foxwell, ProTools, or ISTA/INPA to get a exact read of what code is really being thrown that will limit the function on the Transmission.
