N63 Pcv/ccv replacement

Everyone, I have replaced the ccv hose multiple times now so I decided I am tired of spending way too much money for a stupid section of crappy plastic that is just going to crack.

What I did was buy a foot of 3/4" heater hose and some hose clamps. I simply removed the hoses, cut out the plastic OEM section and replaced ed it with a quality rubber hose.

Cost $5!!!!

What year is your 550? This looks completely different then my 2016 setup, i have two hoses running down in the middle of the engine, one connects the 2 PVC plastic line together, and another goes down to the oil/air seperator.

Can you provide the part numbers for your PCV hoses on each side?

Thanks!

That is the N63 variant, you have (like I do) the N63TU. There were a slew of changes between those 2, including a much more complicated stupid PCV crossover system.

Ugh man, my driver side valve cover is missing the oil separator so that makes sense.

This is making it a bit difficult in my M5 intake system retrofit!
