Wheels spacers... good idea or bad idea?

I got burger tuning 12mm front and 15mm rear spacers for an F10 535i M-sport. Do you think this is a good idea?

Anyone have before and after pictures using spacers?

Just being cautious and want to be certain before putting them on.

Thanks!

I have the same spacer sizes that i plan on putting on my 2011 535i. There is a lot of opinions on spacers on whether they are safe or not. Personally i have never had any issues. i have heard the horror stories but as long as they are installed correctly and are a good brand AND YOU USE THE CORRECT SIZE LUG BOLTS you should be fine. Hub centric spacers are fairly simple and the hub set up on our cars is perfect for spacers in my opinion.

id have to dig up some old pictures of my 08 535i to show you the before and after photos. The 15mm spacers made the rear wheels very flush and made my stance hella sexy. the 12mm spacers didnt fit on the fronts of my 08 535, they caused rubbing. Keep in mind though that the msport wheels have a different offset than the stock wheels. Best thing you can do is try em on and check for rubbing to see if you need to go smaller.

The only reason i havent installed them on my f10 is because i need the new lug bolts. I just have the stock rims that came with the sports package. i forget what style number. the lug bolts from the e60 are thinner than the f10s :-/ I need to find a vendor so i can buy some.

Here, go to my page, and check out my before and after pics. I used 15mm for the rear, and 10mm for the front.

spacers

I just installed the burger tuning ones with 15mm rear, 12mm front on my 535i F10. They look great. They come with the longer bolts too.
