I've been using the JB4 in my car for little over a year and never had an issue with the dealer. I always remove it before I take the car to the dealer. Also, I have the tools needed for the JB4 removal in my car AT ALL TIMES, just so I can remove it something happens on the road and the car needs to be towed to the dealer.

I've had no problems either, you won't lose warranty. It's definitely worth the money for the benefits though. |

10mm socket for the + battery nut, torx for the ground cable and my trusted swiss army knife to cut the tie wraps. I also have the torx and the flat tip screw driver to also install the air filter cover since I have the BMS intake.

Also, does the disconnection of the T-tapped wires cause wear that could eventually cause issues or permanent damage? OP, I am in the DFW as well 👍 |

I don't think so. I wrapped electrical tape around my wires when I removed my JB4.
