Gene, this is a well-reported complaint by F10 owners all over the internet. Hell, it even happened to me as I bought my previous 535i new then went to replace the tyres. No wheel lock key comes with a new F10, at least that's what I was told by BMW Service and Parts department. And yes, they too wanted $60 but that was for the key itself, not for labour to source it. I told them that was the most stupid thing I had ever heard. $60 for a chunk of metal was outrageous when it should be included as standard kit for a $160K vehicle. Anyway, they allowed me to borrow it from the Service Department's Master Set and that was the end of it. You did well to have them gift you one.

Was it Key Number 060? That's the number I recall (same as the cost to buy the damn thing) but that looks a little different to the one I used as yours has one square'ish nub.

Man, those wheels are awesome. I was thinking of going with the "sunken treasure" powder coat from VMR but didn't. Wish I would have had da ballz. Update when you lower it. Guy I work with has the BCRacing coilovers on a 2010 camaro ss and he loves it. Anyway, great job on the wheels.

Riding on 21s though, how big of a difference it is, in terms of comfort/handling ? I always felt 20 is "pushing it" with these cars, curious to hear your impression?
