This adapter is for BMW's equipped with the Smart Phone Integration or BMW APPS factory options. For vehicles with Smart Phone Integration, this adapter not only charges the phone, but allows access to any music or MP3 files stored on the iPhone 4 / 4S. In addition, it provides a connection to the roof mounted telephone antenna on your car for improved cellular reception. For vehicles with BMW APPS, this adapter is required to fully utilize all features of this option. In addition to the great features noted for Smart Phone integration, it allows you to use the "PlugIn" as well as the "Video Playback" features.

Only applicable to vehicles produced after 9/2010 and equipped with either Smart Phone Integration (option code 6NF) or BMW APPS (option code 6NR). BMW APPS is compatible only with iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. The price is FIRM, I was asking $70 and I just lowered it to $50.

Not sure why you are so suprised. Most people don't have an Iphone 4 or 4S anymore. If it was for a 5, I would think you would have had a better chance at selling this.

I still know a few people who carry an iPhone 4
I was able to return my iPhone 5 cradle and received a full refund
I'm sure in 2-3 years BMW will have the iPhone 6 cradle... until then, it's back to the white ugly wire...

Well where do you have it listed? These forums aren't the best place to try and sell a car because most people on here already have an F10. And for those that come here looking, they probably want an M Sport. I would list on cars.com, autotrader.com etc.

Yup... you are 110% correct. I fully agree with your comments

And, yes, I do have the car listed on cars.com... Have not tried auto trader... I may have to though.

I was thinkingto buy this my girlfriend still has the 4s but probably like most people with a 4 she already ordered a 6 it's going to be tough to sell especially since everyone I know traded in their old phones when upgrading.

If she changes her mind and keeps the old phone I'll take it

But if its only going to be used for a week whats the point. I wonder if it will work with an ipod or something, just to get better integration and have it charged in the car without usb cable. Since an ipod doesn't need to be removed from the car ever and can just be left in the compartment. Might be worth checking into that and updating your post to include the models of ipod it might work this. Should give you a slightly bigger audience

Thank you. However, I do not want to post anything that is not supported by the manufacturer (BMW), in regards to this BMW cradle/dock. Meaning I wouldn't want someone to purchase it, and then tell me their iPod did not work... Too much of a headache... You do realize that you (or your girlfriend) may simply use the iPhone 4/S as an iPod, right?

Yep but the old phones are gone, everyone I know that had one did the verizon trade in deal and got $200 credit for their old phone. If I had an old phone I would definitely do that.

Read the whole thing I know the punctuation on the first message was bad typing on a phone. She pre-ordered her new phone and locked in the 200 credit. Once she gets the new phone if she wants the 200 she needs to turn it in.
