Why BMW do not recommend Rotating your tires

Why is it that BMW do not recommend to rotate your tires? if I have the same size on all 4 tires?

I don't see why you shouldn't rotating tires in order to keep the best in the rear wheels…

the don't recommended a lot of sh*t that people do anyway. On sport models you can't cause of the staggered set up. On x drive I think the split is 40/60 as a default. Check the wear with a tire depth gauge after 7500 miles to see if the tires are wearing at different rates.

No good reason not to rotate if you can.

I stopped rotating 10 years ago. In theory, it makes sense to rotate to even out tread wear. In practice however, you run the risk of inducing vibration due to the unique wear patterns of each tire, which balancing doesn't always eliminate. Probably the reason BMW doesn't recommend it. I also found treadwear so close at replacement time that I preferred to just buy four new tires. Just applied the rotating and balancing money I saved to the new tires.
