Is the rear deck spoiler a part of the M-Sport package? The US configurator doesn't make any changes to the car image nor make any reference to it, but the Canadian configurator lists the rear deck spoiler as part of the package and displays it in the image. Does anyone know? I know there's been at least one US sighting of a M-Sport package -- was there a spoiler on the trunk? I think it adds a nice touch. Thanks...

Yes there is and the cost to me was £185.00

The "spoiler" is a little lip that might not be visible on the online configurator. It definitely does come with M sport.

Edit: I stand corrected. Just looked at pics from my ED. Did not have the spoiler. That sucks! I wonder why this is.

thanks! Just sent my dealer my config for a 535xi -- would have liked a 6-speed, but maybe in 2014.... and if not, I'll decide what to do when that lease is up.

This statement is incorrect. I have a US spec 550i M-Sport and it DOES NOT come with the spoiler.

If you go to the build your own section of BMWUSA, and build an M-Sport car, you will notice that you can order the spoiler as an option under the accessories tab for $654.

Sorry, vortexx: but your beautiful 550 looks eactly like the car I saw in an Amsterdam parkinggarage almost 2 weeks ago, could it be your car I saw? My black 535i F10 was parked 2 cars to the left of a M(unich) plated US 550i M....

That isn't my car, i was in Europe at the time, but not Amsterdam. My car is dark graphite (sophisto grey). There is a chance that you could find the owner of that car on the Bimmerfest European Delivery site.

Thanks for the posts folks -- my dealer had a 550i M-Sport come in last week, and I got to see it -- side by side with a non-MSport. Confirmed, no real spoiler. But that M-Sport package makes an awesome car look much more aggressive and it really stands out. Placed my order while I was there.... Even got to see a Dark Graphite Metallic on the lot -- now comes the wait.... I'm thinking a nice Christmas present!
