Passenger Restraint Malfunction
So I hop in my car today and get an error saying "Passenger Restraint Malfunction" and to go to my nearest dealer.
I did some searching and found some 3 and 7 series owners had this issue several years ago... Anyone else have this on their F10? |

I get this once in a while and it happens when I have something on the passenger seat like a briefcase. I just remove whatever I have in the seat and but goes away. Something to do with the weight sensor. I never bothered to bring it in.

I never have that issue. With or without a laptop bag on the passenger seat.
You should bring it to the dealer and get it checked before something happened.

Car is at the dealer. They have to replace a seat sensor.
Not a big deal still 2 years left on my warranty. I just hope it doesn't happen again and we end up chasing the problem. |
