Theoritically it's not using your fuel while on this standby mode, so let's good it's a thumbs up for the environment and our fuel bill
Nothing against on saving the environment. But there must be time that you wanna rev it up a bit. Definitely not to turn it off all the time otherwise it will defeat the purpose and HK govt will ask you to refund the tax exemption.

Seriously, the 2 seconds is kinda annoying especially driving in HK. Those impatient taxi drivers will horn you in no time if you don't step on it right after the green light.

Oh and the more I am driving it the more I get used to the features.
It might be silly but now I try to switch to Eco pro mode every time, I guess the default on is comfort.
Though any idea if we can default the eco pro mode?

And maybe it's just me but since I switched to it, when trying to push from 80 to 100km/h looks like it takes more time ... might be due to the Eco pro mode functioning

Haha. after owning my F10 for more than a year and with all these mods, sometimes I drive like a maniac. My wife said I drove even more aggressive than my previous cars. But she never saw me driving when I was in college.

I figured I have to test out my suspension and BBK.

All wives / gf complaint about driving.

Do your wife drive? My gf used to complaint the way I drive, not fast but too aggressive in changing lanes in the traffic... well fast too (above 120) then as she learns how to drive she now say less about it.

Back in the days, I use my Integra (the crappy ones not GSRs or Type R) and outrun a C280. Crazy... yeah but those were the days.

Seriously fuel bill is the last thing on my mind, the only thing I could think of is repair bills with the constant start / stop. I changed my starter on my last car, close to 10K with discount from BMWHK.

My wife does drive, recently in fact. She has invisible license for 10 years. I made her take the driving improvement course before I let her drive my car. Now I try to teach her drive like me.

I happened to have a 1988 Acura Integra as my first car too. First generation special edition, stick shift. I drove like a triad back in those days. Raced with Chevy Camaro and those muscle cars. I think I was doing 120+mph on freeways in LA and doing z style lane changing.

Eco mode will weak your throttle response too help you save fuels... I never buy the concept for the eco mode. because it's all depends on how you drive the car , not the car itself. I can save lots of fuel if I keep my revs low but It will make no difference for driving a toyota camry...

Camry could be quite aggressive too, just floor it all the time.

Well for now I didn't feel the difference for speed < 80km/h.
It's just that on 100km/h highway I felt the change.
Though as I am not doing lot of highway (or HK does not have high speed highway should I say) I am fine with it.
Will switch off the option after passing the highway toll and burst to the authorized speed limit in seconds

It's the "hill" break button.
Means when you stop it trigger the brake and you can release your foot from the brake.
Useful when traffic jaming or on a slope

Actually should be auto "Hold" which the name suggest automatically hold the brake for you when the car comes to a complete stop and disengage when you put your foot on the gas.

Actually the car will hold the brake for you without using the auto H button on an incline. Try it. This is a smart car.

You mean even without the foot on the brake?

No of course not, is like hill start assist. The car's gyro senses you on incline and will hold the brake for you for a second or so after you let your foot off the brake. If you don't press gas the brake will be off and you will roll back.
