13 535i M Pkg tuned Vs 14 Ghibli SQ4

Need some help deciding as I currently drive the f10 JB4 tuned and pretty much every package available on the car and thinking about 2014 Ghibli Q4. I love the Ghibli exterior but interior is something that is giving me 2nd thoughts. Please let me know what y'all think.

I considered one until I saw the interior, I just wouldn't be happy with it after spending time in a F10...

Maserati has lost everything it once stood for. You're also asking that question in a highly biased community lol, but, stick with the 5.

My neighbor bought a 2016 Ghibli new last year. That thing stays in the shop, thought the N63 has issues but whatever engine they put in the Ghibli seems 10x worse.

When I was car shopping a few months ago. I looked at pretty much everything. I drove all of the competitors. My brother had a Ghibli loaner for his Gran Turismo Sport from the dealer. I drove the car for few days, and I was not impressed. The car rattles, awkward to put the seatbelt on. Interior is meh, drives ok, and the car felt very light. Pros: It does sound good in sport mode, the exhaust note has some Maserati feel. People look at you because of the Trident and oh it's a Maserati.. that's all.

they compare more to the 550i, the S model, the base is more like the 535.
A tune SQ4 Ghibli runs low 12s. Same as my tuned 550i

I love the styling of the exterior, the interior is not so bad, but its made by Dodge. I really wanted one but it was a bit out my budget and read multiple issues about them, not sure if they have fixed them in 2016-17 models

If your thinking of moving down the size of a Ghilbi, I'd would consider an M3 comp pack over that. Otherwise stay with the 5

Guys I test drove 550i, 650i gran coupe but ended up going with Ghibli SQ4. I agree to what everyone was saying but the drive, looks, engine, exhaust note and B&W Sound system made up for lack of other stuff.

Congrats on the car! I was in the market for this Ghibli SQ4 as well, but the rear seating is just WAY too small. Ended up getting a Quattroporte GTS instead and my 535i.

Congrats! Post more pics when you have the time. That interior leather dash looks pretty awesome as well.

Enjoy the Ghibli and I will be waiting to read your overall review and comparison to the F10 hopefully in the near future!

So about 700 miles of driving Total. All I can tell you is that it is totally a different beast. Until I had I driven this I loved my f10 but since this car has changed my whole mindset. The car is alive, sportier, and more responsive in every way. Also all the fuss about interior quality and stuff honestly I don't miss F10 one bit. I love the car inside out. It's not only me my brothers who drive a E46 M3 SMG and E92 M3 couldn't believe how good the car is and looking to get one as well. Friend with a AMG drive it and is ready to switch as well.

the maserati shares its chassis and components with a chrysler 300. hop online and compare the two interiors side by side and you'll see what i mean. i would stick to the f10

Guess you didn't bother to read much past the title since you seemed to have missed OP already bought the Maserati.

Congratulations to the OP on a beautiful car.
