My 7 year old wrecked my BMW

Well I going to wash my car and as I was backing out of the garage, my 7 year old was in my Hummer doing me a favor, and putting the garage door open on my sunvisor and hit the close button..

.well it ripped off my rear spoiler and put 3 dents on the hood and tore the new black vinyl wrap I had installed on my hood. damage to the garage door $950, Vinyl roof $500, PDR dent's removal $500, new spoiler $350 all out of the back pocket..lol Hell of a week end..lol

I started to yell...and then looked at the shock on her face as she realized what she had done, and she broke out into a terrible cry, she was so sorry before I could say a word....and I said to her "Thank you honey I did not like the rear window spoiler anyway and wanted a new one ...thanks you for helping me make up my mind sooner than later" She looked at me kinda blank for a second or two, and smile and said really? I said YES! I did not like it...you did me a favor thank you...and that was the end of it....What can you do..lol

Lol...my boys use to give me that face when they we're little. Now that they're older and curb rashing my wheels I just give them the look of DEATH!

We bought a new car when my daughter was almost 4. The salesman gave my kids a soda to distract them and my daughter chose an orange soda. After we finalized everything we were getting ready to leave and as I buckling my little girl into her booster set she promptly barfed orange soda all over herself, the booster seat and the rear seat! I hadn't even started the car! She gave me her most sincere pouty face and cried an apology. There was no way I could get upset.

Daughters are super special!!

Had a similar experience, some little kid gave my daughter a blue frosty drink of some kind...looked like surf blue in color and my daughter got sick as a dog, and vomited all over my new RAM 3500 front and back seats.....truck was never the same.....lol what can you do....lol

Don't worry! When they grow up they still manage to ruin your car...take for example my son when he begged to borrow my car...he still denies to this day he didn't do it lol!

That's what I told him while screaming at the top of my lungs while my wife watched knowing there was nothing he can say except admit it. Even the wifey knows how to drive with custom wheels on since she had some on her car. Enlight if all this that's how I got the wife to approve these!

Oh, no! I am so sorry to hear this. You have a beautiful kid.

Now, I am concerned still.

Why didn't your electric eyes prevent the garage door from closing? Perhaps they were installed too low. Please reposition the garage door electric eyes so the beam will break if any part of the upper chassis passes through the garage door opening. You might have them so low that only the wheels would break the beam---that's not safe.
