Dealer Cleared JB4 tune? Newbie Questions ab it

Hey everyone, newbie here to the F10 Scene, but not to BMW. Bought my 2013 535i 2 weeks ago with a JB4 and Burger intake. Love it, car really comes alive when you put it in sport mode and the tune kicks in.

So i took the car to the dealership for an oil change, left the JB4 in didnt do anything to it, rolled the dice. Dealer changed the oil, replaced wipers blah blah blah.
Never said anything ab the tune, even ordered me a new radio b/c the plastic was peeling and key b/c its not working correctly to be fixed new week. So it was a normal dealership experience

Driving home i noticed no difference when i put it in sport mode (other than a little throttle response). It feels like the tune is gone? When i would put it in sport mode before i could feel it kick in immediately.

Could they have cleared it out? Also since i didnt install it the previous owner did, do i need to download any software? Or can i just hook up my mac or any PC to that JB4 black box via the USB cable and turn the tune back on?

If so how?

Thanks for any help!

Dont have any good pics of the car, but here is one from when i picked her up and my E46 M3 that i sold before this car.

Just connect it to you computer and turn the jb back on. Every time I bring my car for service the chip is of. What they do is they reflash the car. Go to n54.com and you have all your answers there.

Yea i got it figured out, tune was set to "0". The hardest part was downloading Windows for my mac and then getting the JB4 software and drivers installed. I think this is the one time where having a PC would have been a benefit, but now i have windows on my mac.

Once i had that loaded up i was able to get into the program and set it back to Map 1 and all is good.

Does anyone know how to turn the MPG section under the tach into a boost gauge? I read a thread ab someone talking ab it, but could not see how they did it?

a little off topic, but if the dealer found the tune, would they void your warranty? Also, does your MPG worsen, improve or stay the same with the tune?

Not sure, from what I read I guess it depends on the dealer... Supposed to get better mpg's with the tune.

BMS is known for falling on its face at higher rpm and not making the power it advertises. Might want to dyno to make sure you don't have a ghost tune.
