Cheap quick struts

Anyone use the ebay complete struts that come with mounts and springs installed? I need something for my 535 as the stock struts are completely gone. This car is purely highway driven

I would stick with OEM.

I've been looking at the Bilstein B4 struts.... They're supposed to be just a smidgen stiffer than stock (10%). Not expensive, either. Not much feedback on F10 other than E90 xi guys seem to like them as they have more rebound stiffness that reduces the "pothole explosion" phenomena on the E90 Xi's. They are listed on Tirerack.com.

keep in mind your car won't feel like it's smooth anymore with the stiffer coils. unless that's what you're going for? are you lowered or stock?

I think the stock suspension is garbage... At least on my 13 non-msport (rwd). I also have an F07 GT and the two ride nothing alike. The GT is stable, straight as an arrow down the highway - softly sprung, but very little bobbing and bounding about. The GT is also an Xi so it has the hydraulic rack which is just about perfect. When I got the F10, I was really surprised how different it was from the F07.

I'd like to make the F10 tighter, and somewhat stiffer while still being primarily a trip car. Something like your KW V1s or ST-X with the ride height near the highest setting would probably be ideal for me. Either that or ACS springs and B4 or B6 Bilsteins, or Konis sports. You know the roads in Ohio suck so we are stuck with that, too.

i hear ya about the roads here in OH! Michigan has it the worst! in regards to your suspension a lot of people have swapped out the sway bars. might look into that as another option

I just installed the KW V3 on a '13 535ix. The results are flat out awesome. The car is very soft on broken pavement or potholes yet corners like it is glued down with zero body roll.

Not cheap, but really good.

Good luck.
