Another 535 quad tip conversion

Hi,
sorry to reactive old thread, but I am going to be doing this exact same upgrade using an after market rear diffuser on my 2011 535i M-sport.

Does the rear diffuser come off without taking the entire rear bumper off? Do you simply unscrew the 5 bolts at the bottom. Are there clips all around attaching to the bumper?

Any recommendations on the quad exhaust tips with 2.25 inlet?

The diffuser snaps on and off when the bolts are removed - simple and easy. I recommend the quads from cyba (follow in the first post).
You won't regret doing it. Totally transforms the back look of the car.

Like Sharbotcom mentioned but I also think it depends on what type of diffuser you're going with? Performance, M5, DTM, 3d? what size tips are you thinking of going with?

Thanks you just made my day with this response. I'm happy I dont have to take the whole bumper off.

I'm going with this diffuser, but will probably have it painted matt-black since I dont like the carbon fiber look. the rest of my car is charcoal black.

I will post the pics before and after. As for the size tips - not sure. Nothing too obnoxious. What do you recommend? Dual 3 inch on both sides?

That diffuser will look great! At least 3.5" quad tips. 3" will look too small. Go with the staggered design

Looks great. I am thinking about doing this same set-up. Just messaged Cyba for a price on the tips. How big are yours? Do you think you can go any bigger without issues?

All Cyba's Quad Tips are as follows

Inlet - 57 mm (2.25")
Outlet - 76 mm ( 3.00")
Length - 205 mm (8.00")
