Video playback with new iDrive touch

Struggling to get this to work. I have the media snap in adapter with an iPhone 4S & the video option is not coming up on my LCI 530d. I have tried it on a pre-LCI M5 & video works fine. Is this a feature that has been removed?

Just heard from my dealer. If you have the new touch idrive you only get video playback via the snap in media adaptor if your have specced TV. This is different to previous generation idrive. Wish I had known. They said that I couldn't change after market!
