European radio stations

Anyone have experience with changing the US radio to accept EU radio stations? The US radio scans and accepts odd numbered stations like 92.3 whereas the EU would be 92.4. Its beginning to irritate me that I have to listen to bleed over stations that are static filled or just use my ipod.

Any thoughts on this would be great.

Thanks.

I'm tired of AFN and the bleed over Big FM. In this computer age there should be a way.

I am with you on that, just got back from a nice day drive from France and the ipod although chock full of music, gets old.

There must be a way, I have seen many posts on the issue, seems some fixes for older pre-2008 US spec BMW's but nothing current.

Yeah,
Did I tell you that my car has been in the shop for 7 days now for the right drift? Also they did not give me a loaner, is that common practice here or is it because is a us spec and I didn't buy from them? What has your experience been in that side of the valley?

Well, the repair is considered warranty so a loaner is authorized under your warranty. As most things in Germany, customer service isnt suggestive but instead efficient. If you asked they should have given, they are wrong not to, unless they are out for some reason. I dropped mine off this morning, 3rd visit for pull to right, senior advisor is requesting up to 2 days for Munich to tell them what to do, we will see ...

Interesting, 7 days ... what are they doing?

Well I asked this morning for a loaner and they gave me a cool 1 series rental. Had it till the evening when they called and said my car was ready for pick up. I drove the car for about 40 minutes just to be sure. The car does not seem to pull or drift into any direction anymore. I say "seems" because there were times I though I felt a slight tendency towards the right. Any ways, what puts a smile on my face is that now I'm able to rest my left arm on my leg and my fingers do seldom corrective inputs. Not fatiguing. Will keep testing it this week but the outcome seems promising.

nice one raleedy

Blackhawk, very good news, my advisor said they will get their instructions (as I am sure yours did) from Munich, lets hope they got this ironed out. Car should be ready today or tomorrow. I will let you know if mine is corrected as well.
