Switching to 3" exhaust and while removing both resonators and adding competition mufflers do you thing it will sound good or will I hate it? Trying to get a more aggressive sound

Resonator removed definitely produces a bit of a drone but it is manageable as its not obnoxious. I'm actually thinking an x-pipe might help but you can only get a custom one since most sellers sell 3" or 2.5" and our cars tend to need 2.75" diameter.. However its surprising that Alpina went with no resonators on the B5/B6/B7 cars. Guessing their muffler design compensates for the drone?

either slap an x-pipe in there somewhere underneath the rear-passenger seat or put your resonators back in... otherwise it's going to sound like shit.
