550ix vs 550i ride height?

I saw a 550ix msport and noticed a lot of space in wheel well. Is that normal for a 'ix' compared to non-ix ?

Yes, the xDrive doesn´t get the lowering if You order M-Sport.

We don't get an M Sport specific suspension in the US.

Interestingly enough, the alignment specs for my 535i Sport with DHP state "lowered suspension".
