bow to keep steerig wheel leather matte

I don't like when the steering wheels get that shine effect on it, I never put anything on my steering wheels but eventually the lose that matte look. any suggestions on what I can use to keep that dry matte look on it beside using driving gloves?

Woolite 6:1 or 8:1 with a toothbrush.

My QX56 had white stuff embedded in a oily finish on the wheel. Woolite and a toothbrush brought it back to 80-85% of original look.
