What wheel size? I know they're 20's but whats the widths? Also if those are Avant gardes do you have any vibration problems and are they hub centric? Great looking car. I should be getting mine this week ,I ordered the Mocha as well. I just couldn't turn down the no charge nappa!

Congrats on the new ride. Sweet color combination and those 20's fill the wheel wells perfectly.

Oh, I thought you asked me about the tire size in your thread. The wheel sizes are 9.0 and 10.5. This is my second pair of Avant Garde wheels and have had zero problems with them. They are hub centric. You may have to hunt for a set though. I think they are currently not making them anymore because I think BMW go onto them for being identical to the OEM M5 wheel. Who knows.

Beautiful machine! Love the rims, too -- I wish those had been available for my 2013!

Beautiful Car+Colour, Congrats!
Are the 20" wheels the OEM M5 or aftermarket? I noticed the back wheels are almost flushed which gives the car a more aggressive look. Do you have any spacers installed? If yes what size & Brand? These wheels look better on your car than the M5! Quote:

Thanks --- they are the Avant Garde AG355M wheels which are hard to find now that they've stopped making them. No, I don't have spacers on the back. They are really flush because the back wheels are 10.5". The M5's are 10.0"

No, the gray inserts are actually darker giving it more of a contrast from the polished outer lip -- that's why I like them more than the OEM M5 wheels.

So BMW took the side bolstering from the active seats when they came out with the F10! That's crazy, I thought they were standard on the active seats. I have them on my 2004 545i!

The Adaptive Drive on your 2011 you used to own
Vinfast,
You mentioned that: "It is much improved over my 2011 550i with adaptive drive although it was a great car once I got lowering springs on it." I'm debating whether to get the Dynamic Handling package ($3,500) on the new 2014 535d Xdrive M Sport I'm ordering. Are you saying that the Dynamic Handling package isn't worth it, or that it doesn't lower that car more then the stock M Sport suspension? |

Likewise, DHP isn't just about adjusting the damper stiffness. It has active anti-roll stabilization technology that effectively actively counters body-roll. It works, and it's very cool. My 550xi is a 4400lb car, but with DHP you can hardly feel any body roll when driving pretty spirited on back-roads. Toggle to comfort and the ride becomes complacent and absorbs bumps more readily. Toggle to Sport and suddenly you feel the road bumps more, the suspension is stiff, steering heavy, throttle responsive, etc. It's just really nice IMHO. It's hard to find cars on the lot with DHP to test - my BMW center's owner happened to have a 550 with DHP and was kind enough to let me test his personal car. But I'd seek out testing both systems. I think the M Sport suspension is great - but DHP gives you more than one personality in the same car. For me, it was worth the $3500 since I was coming from a 335 with sport suspension and was tired of the constantly choppy ride, especially on poor city streets in the northeast here... but I still wanted a firm, fun suspension when the roads became smooth and twisty. This provided a nice way to get both. But there really is no way to describe it over the Internet - you really need to get to a dealer and drive cars with both suspensions to figure out what you like.
