Any issues with I phone7?

Was thinking about getting the new 7. Anyone have it? Does it work with I drive andbluetooth? My i phone 5 blows in my 535. Works great in my wife's Tahoe. Dealer tells me it's the specific phone, not BMW issue. I think that's bullshit.

Any feedback? Thanks

My iPhone 5s works perfectly in my '12 535i using the snap-in adapter.

It works fine on mine for the most part. The 6S Plus worked great. I upgraded from 6S Plus to 7 Plus a week ago. There are some disconnects and music pauses that occur randomly.

There is an issue with either the phone software or iDrive and needs a fix. They are both running latest versions.

I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

I have the 7 plus and have no issues whatsoever. Had it since launch day and drive my 550 daily

Always worth waiting minimum 3 months and more this time around down to i-drive 4.5 no longer in production! expect delays from BMW for updates as the priority will be given to i-drive 5 now in all new cars, I guess they rather make sure the flag ship is up and running 1st with Apple before going back to old already sold units.

New 7+ have had the same pauses.

Also on both 6 and 7+, the phone and songs don't link up - click a song, it plays the one next on the list.

I have the 7 as well. For the most part it works pretty well, but I do have the pauses & song matching issue via BT. Lighting to USB is almost perfect.

I have a 7 that I use for Bluetooth calls only, no music. It has worked flawlessly.

mine had problems accepting phone calls. There was a 5 second delay on incomming calls.

i downgraded the bt software in my 520D F11 and now it works as it should

U can download from BMW website. Put on jump drive. Then install thru USB port in armrest compartment. Fairly simple. I'm sure there are other posts on how to update your nav system just have to do a search

Yeah I know. The ones that I got from their site currently is a different version. So I was wondering where I can get the version you got that is known to work properly.

I think the downloads are model & vin specific.

I have a 7+ and occasionally it won't connect for bluetooth music streaming. When I reboot the phone that takes care of the issue.

Reboot as in turn it off and back on or restore it?

I don't know if it's the same problem but I used to have that Bluetooth music streaming not connecting issue. What seemed to fix it for me was pressing the home button to activate Siri. The car would pick it up so I could speak through the microphone. That would seem to "unlock" the connection from the phone to the car and then Bluetooth would stream fine. Quicker than rebooting.
