auto sport gear cover

Hi folks, I am looking to change my auto sport gear cover/ nob to black, prefer to go black rather than the carbon fibre option available with BMW, so fare the only option is the Ceramic one at a crazy price even more expensive than the carbon fibre, any other option you folks can advise on? The US options in this forum tend to be for left driving cars only!

Remove the silver trim and spray or wrap it?
