This shop I'm going to will take 2 days.
The guys at Pomponazzi said not to use shampoo when wasting the car no need.
Sorry when I say never need to wash the car is that I don't have to spend hours using shampoo to clean the car, just use water and no need to wipe it off, just drive around and it will become dry.

My friend DIY his car with a product called Insulator Wax and the out come is the same and only cost $200HKD but it only last for about 6 months.
I will not spend 20 hours detailing my car again, been down that road and no way.
Sounds good to me - let us know how it goes, will be interesting to see your results. I have found that washing with water is about 95% effective - but obviously for tougher stains like bird poop or tree sap for example you will probably still need shampoo. After applying this it seems the rainy season in Thailand suddenly stoped - so I can't tell you how it performs in the rain yet.

I'm done with the 20 hour detailing too.....

Hey guys,
Any referral for car painting? The left rear door of my car was scratched in a carpark. (Could not get the PK.)
If I bring it back to BMW, I think it would be very expensive. But for other service providers, I am worrying if they can provide the exact color. Any experience to share?
Thanks in advance.

Hi jackaleyess,
Frankly, "does not know the law" is NOT an accepted excuse in the spirit of Common Law. Even though you appear in court and give this 'reason' to the judge, you still need to pay the fine and may be even more as you have spent additional time of the court. I suggest you just pay. I think it is something like $1,500.

in real life the paint is good, no orange peel like most of the F30, maybe because it is a M colour and not the standard colour that most BMW have.

Arqray is probably out because all legal exhaust needs to be approved by the Land Transport Authority here. The process is usually done by the distributor and quite straight forward if it is TUV approved like Supersprint and Remus.

Not sure if it is more quiet but another forumer from BMWSG removed his Supersprint for the Remus because of wife's incessive complaints. Said his wife was ok after the change.

I will post in my video and pics in a separate mod thread.
Any error code. ST?

I updated to NBT on my F06

But one warning, though. If you retrofit anything to the car, BMW will refuse to service that part. If you retrofit ANYTHING ECUs (stereo/gps/amps.....etc), or modify the vehicle configuration coded to the car, BMWHK WILL NOT BE ABLE TO UPDATE OR OTHERWISE REPROGRAM YOUR CAR.

So make sure you have very good software support for the car if you retrofit........

I was playing around on the UK 5 series configurator and my car as I have it is about 42k GBP/550k HKD at official UK price, but I paid less than that including FRT!!!

It seems we are getting a deal in HK compared to UK...
