The car has arrived!! 535i LCI

So my car has finally arrived! Took about 7 weeks from Germany to yesterday to pick the car up. Overall I'am absolutely thrilled with the car, so many hidden features to the car that I'm still reading on.

The LED lights are just absolutely stunning, probably one of the brightest and truest white lights I have ever seen on the road. I was hesitant on the design of the M sport wheel until I finally got to drive with it yesterday and today and I must say I'm extremely impressed. It feels almost perfect in the hands, with the soft supple Nappa leather.

Onto the pictures, here are a few junk ones taken with my cell phone. The real ones with my camera equipment will be posted in about a weeks or 2 time.

Last night during pickup. Salesman was nice enough to give it one last wash up.

Threw on the M performance front kidneys & BMS Intake.

Probably the best feature of them all! 6MT

Also threw the car on the lift and had my exhaust guy come over for an estimate for a system.

From the rear to front.

I must say I'm absolutely in love with this car! I'am having tint done this Friday and the car detailed and roof vinyl wrapped next weekend!

The controller feels a bit different in the hand, I have not used the touch pad a whole lot yet. This weekend I'am going to spend some more time with the car since I've been busy with work during the week. I would say the Idrive software has changed quite a bit since the last one, so many options you can change on the car directly through the Idrive. The new NAV screen on these cars are just absolutely insane with the clarity, the colors and resolution are so crisp it almost looks 3D.

Congrats! The LED lights look very nice. Does the DRL/Parking Light mode have the same brightness as the when the lights are in the ON position? I'm assuming the parts inside the angel eyes don't light up, is that right?

They are brighter when in OFF position, when the headlights kick on they dim down. You can also turn off the DRLs in the Idrive menus.

Mocha Nappa, new color for the 2014 5 series. Soft as silk, not Merino but close enough.

That's awesome. Congrats. Having the Manual transmission must be a shit load of fun. Last one I had was on my E46 M3 Conv and E39 M5 before that. I miss it.
