Can I (on my pre LCI car) replace 633 Prep.mob. Ph. Business Bluet.interf. with 6NS or does that need an FSC code

Will this give me anything extra over what I have now or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

I am running a 2013 550 xi Msport and have the coding software already with cable. I would like to learn how to code car myself as well. Can there be a skype meeting or something to do this cross continent?

There are plenty of coders in US who should be able to assist you. In fact, enough people host days and run workshops to cover this stuff.

Look in the US forums and you are sure to find someone local...

No easy way.
There are a few F10 Cheat Sheets available. Search the forum for these. Then connect your car to see if the coding item/value exists in your module - if it does, you will likely be able to code it.
Do remember, some items need to be modified in multiple modules - so be sure they exist in all modules before you start.

I have a new F21 coming mid-Sept - hoping that the coding wont be so esoteric now .... are the files still 'trimmed' ?

Hoping to be able to at least default ASS to 'last setting used' & be able to turn off the radio when the door is opened - oh, and have rear DRLs ...

I haven't done any coding for a while (just short of time), but will do your car. Maybe, this will be the impetus to start pursuing my hobby again.

Let me know closer to the time, and I will get the latest files. Trimming issue has been solved (at least as of now !)

Thats brilliant guru. Thanks for that. Ya basingstoke is not too far from where I live. We can work out a convenient for you and I can drive down one day. Regarding the coding bit, I guess you are the guru and can suggest me a few useful tweeks. Unfortunately, I have the Business Nav with a small screen and 2013 Maps on it.
