550ix delivered with white line tail lights
Finally, after 7 months of waiting my car is here. Had the dealer install the white line tail lights. I think they look good on silver and I've had at least 30 people stop over the last two days to ask me about the car. Definitely a standout here in Germany. Anyway, will post some pics in the pic thread but I've attached one here. Could not get the dealer to change out the trapezoidal exhaust tips with quads, will have to find a tuner.

Thanks delvek, no issues with PCS other than the trim in my car is wrong. They are replacing next week. Car definitely has a different ride then my 2010 535i, feels heavier. Looking forward to it being broke in so I can see what it feels like at max speed. My E60 was like a rock on the autobahn at 155mph. I hope this one rides the same.

* Its not whether mistakes will be made (they will we are all human) its how a company responds to those mistakes, PCS in my experience has been spot on in their respones and desire to make it right. Maybe its because of our unique population that makes it easy for them, I dont know, fact is they do. * I had a 08 535 and this 550i (waiting on my 2nd, long story) is so incredibly solid on the autobahn its incredible. I used to feel the sweet spot of the 535 was 120mph, its where the car felt comfortable cruising. This 550 is more like 140 is where it feels in its own. I was impressed with the performance in all aspects although the car does feel heavier and bigger, I am fine with that because I am carting around a family of 5 at times so it goes with my territory. * Feel for you on the break in. I got my 1st 550 to 4k miles, barely got a chance to really enjoy it. I hate having to go through another break in period but 4500rpm or less and 100mph or less, I can deal with it. At any speed this car is the best car I have ever owned, period.

All good points. This is the second car I've bought from them. The first was clean, this one has had a few issues but they always respond well, so I will keep recommending them. I had the M sport with my 535i and the car felt very comfortable to me cruising over 135, but over 150 it did tend to get noisy--still rode well though. Had the new one up to 105 today. Seemed extremely quiet, and of course gets there with little to no effort. I'm thinking I will love this car as much as my last one!
