Front Heated Seats Distribution.
Has anyone experienced problems with putting heat either to the back or front of the seats ?
Ours do not appear to work despite the i drive showing a change of distribution. |

Aha, so you get the distribution with the comfort seats. Used to have that even with the standard seats on my e61 and even my f11 with sports seats lack them.

Did you check under Climate in the Settings menu on the iDrive?

It's probably working, but not as much a change as you would expect compared to the even distribution setting. In my wife's 2008 X5 we could channel 100% of the heat to the back of the seat.
Unfortunately, I've noticed in our F10 when we dial the heat all the way to the backrest we still get a good amount to the seat cushion as well. There's a change, but it's pretty subtle. This is a drag because I like running the heat on the highest setting on the backrest, even in the summer, because I have a fair amount of back pain that the heat seems to reduce. Safer and more effective than Hydrocodone!
