Sorry, not sure what you mean.
I ordered a 6.5" screen mounting bracket form Europe as it looks like the small screen was not avaialble in the U.S. on the F10. I'm not sure how the other/newer screens are, but the G01 screen is L shaped, so it needs a bracket that has a hole to fit the back. I was trying to find a solution where the opening in the back is not visible from any angle, which this does. |

So for those who switched to NBT EVO, did you also switch to the KYOCERA display or did some of you use the Voltage Converter method (12v to 9v DC-DC converter on the power wires of the current CID to NBT LVDS cable)? I've got myself a full setup but its from an F13 650i so the screen won't fit as is and I really want to keep the OEM look (don't care about touch). So short of frankensteining the Kyocera LCD panel into an F10 Trim, wondering how ppl have dealt with it.

Hello guys ! I have a 2016 535i with NBT ID4. I am looking to upgrade to ID6. Does anyone know if I can use the screen that I currently have with my ID4, and just replace the head unit, or I have to replace both the screen and the head unit ?

You can keep your current screen - it just won't support touch interactions.

I've been researching a bit and still don't see any mention of whether the optional heads-up display function works with the new Apple Carplay installations. No mention. Zip. Nada.

NBT Evo will never display HUD info from anything other than BMW nav. AA/Carplay integration into HUD requires MGU (AKA iDrive 7)
