Anyone knows of a good local independent shop here in socal? I just can't justify paying the dealer $1k for an oil change and spark plugs replacement!

Not sure about the Chino Hills area, but off the top of my head:
Bullet Performance - Santa Ana
SolelyBimmer - Mission Viejo
Those are 2 shops I have used with great results. If there's more, I have a buddy who lives in Tustin, he's an ASE Certified Master Tech and has a lift at his house.

He's the man. You're in good hands. He's got the inside on hardware, tunes, piggybacks and general maintenance. He's the best around at walnut blasting.
