Need help posting pics

I want to upload and post some pics I took with my iPad, but every time I try I get a message that my file size is too large (maximum allowable is 1600 x 1600). I have tried to edit my picture size but I can't seem to get the files to upload. I feel technologically impotent.

Please help!

send the pic through yahoo mail
choose a lower resolution

then fixed

Try uploading them using a site like this one: http://en.directupload.net

Then take the URL and wrap it in the IMG brackets. It will show up in your forum post.
