If I lived in US and bought the LED lights I would be furious getting that trimmed down version without full disclosure from the dealer. |

Update:
My adaptive LED headlights do work Thank you, it was simply because I misunderstood the option within the i-drive menu. I'm pretty impressed with the technology, it's interesting to see how the headlights try to light up as much of the road as possible without blinding the other drivers. I would like to increase the sensitivity so they're activated earlier. I haven't figured out the parameters yet but it seems like they tend to be activated above a certain speed. It would be interesting to know how variables that can be changed via coding. |

I picked up my car the other night, and while going over things, my SA confirmed that the auto high beams turn BOTH beams on and off, not just one side. This is for a U.S. spec'd car.

The LED headlights shift slightly left to right as you turn the steering wheel. The best way to see this is to have the headlights shine on the garage door or wall. When you turn the wheel, you will see the shift.

The consensus is that the lights are delivered in US spec'ed cars with missing features. |

I meant missing 'hardware' not 'feature' - the missing feature is because of the missing hardware. It can't be coded. But that's not the topic of this thread. Quote:
And I'm not complaining at all. I think you misunderstood something |

OP: could we arrange to read the coding data off your modules?
I'd like to compare to the values to a US-spec'ed car. This is the only way to find out whether this is a hardware or regional specs issue or both. |

I checked real OEM and the European and US cars have the same LED part #'s for all the components in the headlight housing. If they are correct it's just coding to get it working. Hopefully some European owners will send their entire SVT tree for comparison with US models. I know there's more to the coding than just removing 5AP and 8S4 from the VO. There's 2 TSM modules that have all the LED headlight data so I'm betting those modules will have to be coded as well.
